So I was watching TechTV last week as I usually do and Lab With Leo was pushing this new POWNCE website. Sounds dirty but it's not, not that I've seen anyway.
You can share files and sites and all kindsa things with it. It's basically like on Facebook when you have all your POSTED ITEMS. If you're a fan of the POSTED ITEMS you'd be all over Pownce.
Only trick with it is it's still on "invite only" so I signed up for one thinking that it would be like the illusive OiNK invites that you only hear about but no one has ever seen. Last night though I signed into my email and with great surprise I got an INVITE! Woot!
Honestly if anyone's interested let me know, I have 5 other invites if you'd like to jump on the bandwagon and you'd have a friend in me already. SO join the social networks, give in and be "one of us"... well it's just me right now so uhmm it's kind of lonely. Comeon Facebook is wearing thin, it's time to jump ship!

That's mine. If this Pownce thing takes off that's wicked, and if not then it's just another failed social-networking/link-sharing site to add to the ever-growing hypenated pile I've seemed to accumulate. |
